The Competition Council approved the take over of Anima Specialty Medical Services clinics and Anima Promotion and Sales SRL by MedLife SA.

The Competition Council evaluated the operation from the point of view of its compatibility with the normal competition environment, according to the regulation of the economic concentration and concluded that it doesn’t have significant obstacles on the Romanian competition market or a substantial part of it, especially the dominant position consolidation.

MedLife group is one of the main private suppliers of medical services from Romania, with operations in Bucharest and a network of 7 hyperclinics. Anima Specialty Medical Services SRL offers medical consultancy services, laboratory services and medical imagery services through 6 clinics in Bucharest.
