Centrul Medical Unirea (CMU) opens today a new medical unit in Bucharest, CMU Dorobanti, following an investment of approximately EUR 1 million. Located on Dorobanti Avenue it consists of a pediatrics hospital with a capacity of 10 beds, a polyclinic and a diabetes center for children and adults.
“The success of CMU Kids, the first children polyclinic we opened in 2008, made us aware of the need for a children’s hospital in Bucharest. (…) I am very proud to announce that is the largest CMU clinic in the center of Bucharest and it will be led by Dr. Doru Dumbrava”, said Dr. Wargha Enayati, GM of CMU.
After the recent takeover of Euroclinic, the first private hospital in Romania, CMU now has a team of over 1,000 doctors working in its three hospitals and over 23 polyclinics. This March, investment fund Advent International acquired 80 percent of the company.
