Christian Tour: Romanian tourists number going on summer holiday in Turkey to go up by 50 pct

Tour operator Christian Tour estimates a growth by 50 percent in the number of tourists going on 2018 summer holiday in Turkey and a growth by 15 percent of tourists going in Greece.

For Turkey resorts the company will operate over 15 charter flights/week with departure from the main airports in Romania: Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Arad, Oradea, Iasi, Bacau and Targu Mures.

“Christian Tour is the Romanian agency with the biggest number of charter flights to Turkey. Our estimations are based on concrete figures, according to which the number of Romanian tourists number that will spend their summer holiday in Turkey, will increase significantly,” said Marius Pandel, CEO Christian Tour.

The company will bring to the Tourism Fair of Romania, that takes place at the Fair Center Romexpo in Bucharest during November 16-19, packages for 7 nights accommodation.

Also, Christian tour estimates an increase in the number of tourists in Greece the next summer, for which the company also has one-week accommodation packages.

Moreover, the company announces 45 charter flights/week during the summer season of 2018 to Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Spain.

Christian Tour closed the first nine months of this year with sales of EUR 57.7 million, an year-on-year growth by 7 percent. During January-September, 200,000 tourists traveled with Christian Travel.

Christian Tour was founded by brothers Cristian and Marius Pandel in Romania 20 years ago.
