Businessman George Becali sells EUR 10 million plot to Portland Trust

Businessman George Becali has sold a 20,000 sqm plot of land in Pipera to developer Portland Trust, Ziarul Financiar reports. Becali is the financer of football team Steaua Bucuresti. Portland Trust was founded by British businessman Robert Neal. The estimated value of the transaction stands at EUR 10 million. The land is located between the Turabo Grand Ballroom events center and the Bucharest Auto Permits Center, in an area where many office buildings were built in recent years.
