The overall business of services provided to companies increased in April to 10.6 percent, slowing its growth rate compared with March, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Cumulated, in the first four months of this year, the services to companies climbed by 12.2 percent compared with the same period of 2016.
The biggest growth were registered in April in cinema production activities, video, and TV programs (23.4 percent), for other services 915 percent) and in transport services (9.8 percent), compared with April 2016.
Compared with March, services to companies dropped in April by 7.4 percent on gross series and by 0.8 percent on adjusted series according to the seasonal factors.
The services, mainly to companies, represent a business indicator of the firms that obtain at least half of the revenues from the sales of their services to other commercial companies.
