BNR keeps Romania’s key interest rate at 1.75 pct

The Administration Council of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) has decided to keep the key interest rate at 1.75 percent, according to a release of the central bank.

Also, it decided to manage adequately the liquidities from the banking system and to maintain the current levels of the minimum mandatory reserves rates applicable to the liabilities in RON and foreign currency of the credit institutions.
