“Avengers: Infinity War” takes over RON 3 mln in Romanian weekend box office

The movie “Avengers: Infinity War” has generated over RON 3 million at the Romanian box office during the first weekend of screenings.

The film, which features stars like Robert Downey Jr, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Chris Pratt and others, has taken first place in the Romanian weekend box office.

Globally, the new Avengers instalment has made the most money at the box office in history, with a total of USD 640.8 million in the first weekend.

The second place at the Romanian box office was taken by “Blockers” with John Cena, which continued to attract plenty of viewers (8,678) even on its third weekend. The movie “Rampage” took third place and was also in its third weekend, with 6,988 viewers.

The next most-watched films in Romanian cinemas were: Duck Duck Goose, Peter Rabbit, A Quiet Place, Midnight Sun, Super Troopers 2, Ready Player One, Maya the Bee: The Honey Games.
