ANAF fines Bucharest commercial centers with over RON 2.6 mln

Romania’s tax authority ANAF developed investigations in Ilfov and Bucharest, during March 28-April 4, applying fines worth over RON 2.6 million to Bucharest commercial centers, according to the authority.

Anti-fraud inspectors investigated 107 tax-payers and applied overall fines of RON 1.56 million and also seized cash, illegal revenues and goods whose existence couldn’t be justified, amounting to RON 241,958, according to ANAF.

Moreover, on April 4 the anti-fraud inspectors developed investigations in the commercial center “Europa”, in Bucharest.

„The Romanian Gendarmerie supported the investigations. During the investigation, were checked 45 tax-payers and were applied fines of RON 586,000 and were seized money and goods whose existence couldn’t be justified, worth RON 295,300,” says the release.
