CBRE recruits Ana Dumitrache in its Romania management team, as the leader of the company’s investments department. After a successful 2017 at CTP, Dumitrache is going from development to consulting at CBRE.
With important experience as real estate banker and in the real estate development sector, Ana Dumitrache is ready to add value and substance in consulting services offered by the sales and acquisitions specialist team of CBRE, which has recently been involved in major transactions on the office market (the sale of three Skanska buildings in the north of Bucharest to Globalworth), retail (sale of Felicia Iasi and Electroputere Craiova commercial centres) and industry (GIC’s acquisition of P3).
At CBRE, Ana Dumitrache is aiming to showcase the skills that make her a deal maker and transform CBRE’s investments division into a one stop shop where clients can find everything from brokerage, evaluation and project management to debt advisory, all that is necessary for a successful transaction.
“I have always had a consulting position, in my entire career, and I will work hard to impose my values and continue to be a trustworthy consultant, with a good sense of confidentiality, who is responsible and result-driven”, says Ana Dumitrache.
According to CBRE analysis, Romania’s macroeconomic results continue to be very attractive for real estate investments, both in Bucharest and other developing cities. Over the past two years, real estate investments outside of Bucharest have surpassed those made in the capital.
CBRE data shows that all types of property (office, logistic, retail, hotels and residential) are of interest to investors, especially those with a long-term exploitation potential. The value of real estate investment projects coordinated by CBRE in the last four years is close to half a billion euros.
CBRE continued to have the highest turnover among real estate consulting firms in 2017, and was the first company which exceeded annual incomes of EUR 10 million after 2008. The company is the market leader in the offices and industrial transactions and manages 320,000 sqm of commercial space and over 90,000 sqm of class A office space in Romania.
