Restaurant Week will be held for the first time in Romania between May 16 and May 23 when foodies are welcomed to try new menus and to take advantage of special discount offers at over 50 restaurants in Bucharest.
The restaurants enrolled in the project will offer, based on their choices, a fix menu of 2-3 courses at RON 25, or a discount of 25 – 50 percent applied to individual course and drinks.
Restaurant week is already a tradition in many cities around the world such as New York, Chicago, Boston, London or Dublin and now has finally made it to Bucharest. It is a pilot project (the summer edition) that will include popular restaurant brands on the Bucharest going out scene such as: City Grill, Urbanesc, Casa Boiereasca, Britannia, The Harp, etc.
If the event will be successful in its inaugural edition, we will see it take place two times a year, the organisers say. For a complete list of locales that will offer discounts click here.
