Key move. Luiza Moraru will coordinate CBRE’s operations in the CEE region

CBRE has appointed Luiza Moraru as head of CBRE’s Asset Services Division for Central and Eastern Europe.

From this position, Moraru will guide and supervise almost 500 CBRE consultants performing asset management activities for office buildings and shopping centers in the CEE region. From Bucharest, she will lead the asset management teams located in Austria, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania, and will align the good practices and the workflows at a regional level, with an aim for excellence.

All these qualities, together with our team’s know-how in the region, will help in continuing to deliver the best solutions and results for our clients,” said Andreas Ridder, chairman of CBRE CEE.

Currently, in the CEE region, CBRE manages a total area of 3.95 million sqm, out of which 1.8 million sqm are shopping centers and 1 million sqm are office buildings, the remainder being industrial and logistics spaces. In Romania, the Asset Services department was founded at the end of 2013, under Moraru’s leadership, and grew to 400,000 sqm in just 4 years, the portfolio including representative buildings such as Sun Plaza Bucharest, Vivo Cluj, Vivo Constanta or Timpuri Noi Square Bucharest.

Moraru said: “In our line of business, the main mission is to improve the operational performance of a building, with full compliance in both safety and regulations, for the benefit of the users and the owners of each building. I look forward to working with our colleagues in the region in order to consolidate our current partnerships and to extending our client portfolio with new personalized and custom-made solutions”.

Moraru has an experience of over 17 years as a broker and retail consultant, out of which the last 10 as part of CBRE Romania.
