130,903 mortgages in Romania in the first 11 months

The Romanian market recorded 130,903 active mortgages in intravilan areas in the first 11 months of the year, most of them (24,000) in Bucharest.

The capital city is followed by the Ilfov and Cluj counties, with around 12,000 and 8,776, respectively.

The best month was July at the national level, with 11,982 mortgages. For Bucharest, it was February, with 3,531, and October for Cluj, with 1,140 mortgages.

The worst month was January, with 8,544 mortgages at the national level and 1,568 in Bucharest, and March for Cluj county, with 621.

The full number of mortgages in the first 11 months of the year is much higher than those in intravilan areas, reaching more than 57,000 in Bucharest.

In the 10 most developed counties, the number of mortgages exceeded 171,000, with the capital being followed by Ilfov, with 23,053, Cluj with 16,631 and Constanta with 14,186.
