PM Dancila: We do not have a project concerning Pensions Pillar II, you should forget the topic

According to PM Viorica Dancila, the Romanian government is not preparing any project regarding the Pensions Pillar II and should simply forget about the topic. 

Moreover, the head of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) said the topic was not one of interest anymore and that he will personally announce if such a project will take shape.

“We do not have a project with Pillar II, forget about this,” Dancila told journalists after the meeting of the National Executive Committee of the PSD. She also stressed that “Pillar II will not be scrapped.”

At the same time, asked whether there will be any changes affecting Pillar II, Dragnea said that “this is a campaign fuelled by certain societies that have interests,” adding that “I will let you know when that happens.”
