Starting mid-June, Wizz Air will operate flights from Bucharest to Doncaster Sheffield, Malmo, Malaga and Malta and from Cluj-Napoca to Basel Mulhouse. Fares start at RON 129 (approximately EUR 29).
The new routes are available after the airline added a new plane, an Airbus A320, to its local fleet which now comprises eight aircrafts. The new aircraft will also enable the company to increase the frequency of flights on several routes such as Bucharest-Dortmund, Bucharest-Tel Aviv and Cluj-Napoca – London. Overall, the company has launched 24 new routes since January 2013.
