Tinerimea Romana (the Romanian Youth orchestra), the first youth symphonic orchestra in Romania, will perform on April 26 at 7 pm, at the Romanian Athenaeum, “Tchaikovsky in love” – a concert-event conducted by Cristian Mandeal.
The evening’s program is centered around three famous symphonic works composed by Tchaikovsky after William Shakespeare writings – the symphonic poems “The Tempest” and “Francesca da Rimini” and the fantasy-overture “Romeo and Juliet”. The hosts will surprise the audience in the opening of the evening with the presence of several world top soloists who will perform three works for percussion instruments with orchestra accompaniment.
The concert is organized by the “Romanian Youth” National Art Center, co-producers being Apa Nova and Lanto Communication.
