The Belgian Week to start soon

Between April 22 and May 1, at Crowne Plaza will be celebrated the Belgian Week, an event that celebrates the commercials relationship between the two countries, with a focus on cuisine and social networking events, as well as a Belgian Business Day Gala Dinner.

Belgian cuisine is one of the most highly praised in Europe and is renowned for its delicious taste and quality. This reputation is well-deserved, since Belgium is one of those countries where good food is not a hollow phrase but a veritable part of the country’s culture. Belgians love high-quality cuisine and enjoy sharing it in good company. From “moules frites” to waffles, you indulge your senses for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch with Belgian traditional dishes.

Also, the organizers prepared a cycling event that will take place on April 28, at Crowne Plaza. The event tries to put in the spotlight the benefits of cycling, as it is considered in Romania just a way of transport, not a lifestyle, as in other countries, including Belgium. Moreover, at the event will be present Edi Novak, president of the Romania Cycling Federation and Paralympic champion, Andrei Tchmil, Moldovan/Belgian citizen, former pro-cyclist and winner of Milan-Sanremo, Paris-Roubaix, Tour of Flanders, Dan Sardan, organizer of Prima Evadare, the biggest cycling event in South-East Europe, Mircea Crisbaseanu, organizer of cycling holidays in Romania, Rares Manea, Romanian cyclist and owner of a bike retail shop in Iasi and Jef Vanhoof, Action Villages Romania, specialist on cycling infrastructure.
