Telekom Romania launches one-stop-shop platform for SMEs

Telekom Romania announces the launch of LocalHub.ro, a one-stop-shop online platform created to offer users an accessible and efficient tool through which they can find relevant and up-to-date information on businesses and their activity, the company announced in a press release.

The platform gathers, right from the start, over 400,000 companies all over the country and from all industries.

“More than 50 percent of the small and medium businesses in Romania do not have a relevant online presence. By launching LocalHub.ro, we wished to meet this need and to take companies where their consumers already are, in the online. The launch of LocalHub.ro portal is just the first step of this project and we plan to develop the product this year and to integrate more online solutions.

At the same time, we are proud to announce that this is a premiere in Deutsche Telekom Group, an innovative One Stop Shop project, through which we aim to become the first integrated online and offline partner, for both consumers and businesses”, said Alina Cazacu, senior manager Non Core E-activities Telekom Romania.

LocalHub.ro offers business representatives the possibility to consolidate their online presence, by creating a customized page within the portal, which gathers complete information on the company’s activity and on its products and services.

The website also has an optimized for mobile version, in accordance to the new trends in terms of users’ behavior, who access the Internet more and more on their smartphones.

According to latest statistics, the traffic from mobile devices represents almost 10 percent of the total Internet traffic, says the press release.

The representatives of the businesses listed on the platform can claim their business and fill in relevant information for users within their dedicated pages.

Each business can have a customized description to inform users on the products and services in its offering, to publish links to its own website, the opening hours, as well as contact details.

LocalHub.ro portal also provides integrated solutions for those who have a business, including website development and promotion through online campaigns through Google AdWords and Facebook, enabling them to consolidate their online presence.

Telekom Romania launches unlimited communication for its prepaid customers 

Telekom Romania introduced on May 25th a promotional offer which includes a new feature for prepaid cards, which allows users to communicate unlimited in Telekom Romania network by using SMS, MMS and Joyn by Telekom app, and outside of Telekom network using WhatsApp.

For WhatsApp, the national unlimited and free data traffic is available only for photos transfer, text, audio and video messages.

Prepaid Telekom users can benefit from the promotional offer regardless if they have available credit or an active extra-option.

Telekom is the only national operator that has so far offered its users the possibility to communicate unlimited without having available credit or an active extra-option.

Telekom customers that are using prepaid cards will automatically enjoy the new benefits without having to undertake additional steps. The offer is available for all new and existing Telekom prepaid users; the offer does not apply to users that have a hybrid prepaid card.

The promotion will take place between May 25th and November 25th, 2015. All Telekom customers using prepaid cards can enjoy this promotional offer as long as the card is valid.
