Satu Mare gets revamped road following EUR 27 mln funding

Satu Mare County Council aims at starting works to improve the 193A county road, with a total length of almost 50 kilometers, the project being estimated at RON 122.6 million lei (EUR 27.7 million), VAT included.

The revamp will include works on an efficient system for water collecting and drainage, on side roads, traffic safety works, reads an announcement of the institution quoted by Mediafax.

The deadline for completion of the contract is three years starting with the award date.

The project will be funded through the National Local Development Programme, coordinated by the Ministry of Development.

The estimated value of the contract, including sundry and contingency expenditures, respectively site organization, is RON 98.9 million (EUR 22.3 million), VAT excluded.

Works will be procured through open tender for the lowest price. Constructers interested in the project can apply until May 8.
