RON 1.25 billion profit for mandatory pension funds, up 59 pct on year

The total profit of the eight mandatory private pension funds (Pillar II) in Romania reached RON1.25 billion in 2013, up 59 percent on the year, according to data released by fund administrators.

The three insurance companies with the biggest share of profit are ING (RON 475. million), AZT Viitorul Tau (Allianz-Tiriac Pensii – RON 269 million) and Alico (RON 179 million).

The ranking includes:

– Aripi fund ( Generali Pensii) – RON 118,9 million;

– BCR Pensii – RON 71.4 million;

– Eureko Pensii – RON 66.04 million;

– BRD Pensii – RON 37.3 million;

– Vital (Aegon Pensii) – RON 37.15 million.

The biggest ROI

– Aripi (Generali Pensi – 13.2 percent

– Alico – 13.1 percent;

– BRD – 12.3 percent;

– Vital – 11,4 percent;

– ING – 11,3 percent;

– BCR – 11,3 percent;

– Eureko – 10,7 percent;

– AZT Viitorul Tău – 10,3 percent.
