Romanians who choose to spend Easter in Romania allocate a budget of EUR 100-150 per person mainly for mountain resorts, stated in a release Daniela Dumitrica, marketing manager with Paralale 45.
“The seaside amateurs choose Bulgaria or Turkey, opting for all inclusive services. Prices for these destinations start from EUR 82 per person for three nights. Last year, many Romanians chose to spend the Easter holiday in Cyprus, but also in pilgrimages to Israel. We expect this number to increase by 30 percent this year. The average budget allocated for these vacations start from EUR 395 per person,” added Dumitrica.
With prices starting from RON 260 (EUR 58), Romanians can choose to spend Easter in Romania in hostels or 3 and 4 stars hotels with breakfast and Easter dinner included.
Regarding the destinations abroad, a stay of 7 nights in Turkey which includes Easter starts from EUR 245 per person with all inclusive services and air ticket included.
An increasing demand is for pilgrimages to Israel. A 5 nights circuit in the Holy Land is priced EUR 599 per person. Easter holidays in Cyprus start from EUR 395 per person for a stay of 7 nights, air tickets included.
