Romania’s labor force needs the cooperation between the private and the public sector. This year stands under the sign of the New Salary Law that should come into force in 2014. It is also the year of more EU markets opening their doors for Romanian employees.
Business Review’s Focus on HR&Employment event (April 28, Ramada Inn) will benefit from the attendance of two high-up officials within the Bucharest Territorial Labour Inspectorate;
– Ciprian Dragomir, General State Inspector, ITM.
– Marilena Balabuti, Deputy Chief Inspector, ITM Bucharest.
The two officials will provide information on public policies and legal measures to increase employment in Romania. Participants are also invited to ask questions on the authorities’ plans for young and old employees, the two extremes of the labor market. Marilena Balabuti will hold a special presentation on the theoretical and practical aspects of informal labor in Romania in 2014.
