Design, contemporary art, music, film and technology are the creative industries that can transform Romania in a regional force by the end of 2030, notes the press release of the event called Creative Est – the first festival dedicated exclusively to creative industries.
Between September 6-7, at the Botanical Garden of Bucharest, over 30 local brands such as Saga Film, Molecule F, Turific, Cai Verzi, Autor, Pegas, Intro, Bucharest Design Center, Dizainăr, Artmark and other expect their visitors with their products and stories behind the brand. The weekend day will end up with film screenings and live concerts.
In Romania, the creative industries represent one of the most dynamic sectors of the national economy, contributing with over 6 percent. Last year, the first business networking event for the Romanian cultural and creative sector sought to promote Bucharest as a regional hub of cultural and creative industries, while some 70 percent of the sector’s nationwide turnover is generated by cultural and creative projects based in Bucharest, according to Promoting Entrepreneurship in the Creative Industries, a study conducted especially for the forum.

One ticket costs RON 30 for one day or RON 50 for both days. The tickets can be bought in advance from Germanos, Orange, Vodafone, Domo stores, as well as Humanitas and Carturesti bookshops.
