Romanian Association of Public Relations elects new president and board of directors

The Romanian Association of Public Relations has changed the structure of its board of directors, which now includes five vice-presidents: Florentina Iusco, Lucian Mindruta, Catalin Hosu, Cristina Balan and Camelia Spataru. The current secretary general is Andreea Plesa. The censor commission is formed of Dana Seiciu and Marius Marcovici.

Gabriel Paslaru is the new president of the Association.

“There are several tens of thousands of professionals in public relations in Romania, with common goals and challenges, and the ARRP has as main target to adjust with sustainable programs to these interests and challenges. “We expect to reach at least 500 members all across the country right before the end of the year, and their number will grow significantly over the next years,” said Paslaru.

According to the newregulations, the Asociation welcomes communication specialists from both the private and institutional domain, sole traders and communication firms or departments within companies or institutions.

The honorific juryof teh Asociation has expanded fro three to five members and is made up from Dumitru Borțun, president, Corneliu Cojocaru, Radut Bilbiie, Mirela Nemtanu and Ileana Danalache.
