Raoul Ros returns as GM of Alcatel-Lucent Romania

Starting July 1, Raoul Ros will be once more general manager of Alcatel-Lucent Romania, and also commercial manager for  Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Moldova Republic, Montenegro and Serbia. 

Ros will be in charge with coordinating the current operations of the company .

He will be the manager of the network of commercial partners in Central and Southern Europe.

“I will continue to consolidate the strategic position of Alcatel-Lucent in Romania and in the countries in the region I am coordinating and to uphold the development of the R&D center in Romania,” said Ros.

With 20 years of experience in telecommunications, Ros held a key position in Alcatel-Lucent as EMEA Channel Partner Organization Leader prior to being appointed as GM of the Romanian branch.

Between July 2009 and June 2012, he was general manager of Alcatel-Lucent Romania and coordinated the activity of the company in South-Eastern Europe. 

He has been working in the company since 1992, having held various positions in sales and management in South America, Asia and Europe.

Alcatel-Lucent has been present on the Romanian market since 1991 and currently has 1,500 employees.  The company has two headquarters, the central one in Timisoara and one in Bucharest.

The Timisoara branch has expertise in LTE, small cells, IP platforms, customer services delivery-  GNOC, remote integration, telecom application development as well as validation labs and testing systems.
