BCR’s chief economist Radu Craciun has been appointed chairman of the board of the Romanian Association of Financial Banking Analysts, or AAFBR, the association said in a statement Friday.
Craciun replaces Adrian Codirlasu of Unicredit Tiriac Bank, who will remain a member of the Board, along with Ionut Dumitrescu, chief economist for Raiffeisen Bank, and Eugen Sinca, chief analyst for BCR.
The board welcomes new members Iancu Guda, director of debt collecting for Coface Romania.
“I wish for AAFBR to become an association that reflects in a better way all the financial professionals in Romania. In this manner, the diverse professional experience of its members will allow the association to have relevant debates and exchanges of opinions”, according to Radu Craciun.
The Romanian Association of Financial Banking Analysts was founded in january 2008 and includes in its ranks analysts from the banking sector along with specialists in pension funds, fund investments, insurance companies and stock market.
