QuickMobile registers sales higher by 25 pct in weekends

According to QuickMobile, one of the largest IT specialists in Romania, Romanians’ appetite for shopping of mobile phones and gadgets increases during the weekend, the retailer’s sales being up to 25 percent higher over weekends. This is mainly sustained by the discounts offered during the QuickEnd campaign, that can reach up to 70 percent.

If, during the week, the average shopping basket on the QuickMobile website is RON 800 (EUR 180), in weekend it can reach RON 1,000 (EUR 225) and the traffic of the website also increases by 70 percent at the end of the week, most buyers coming from Bucharest.

According to the QuickMobile representative, the QuickEnd campaign increases sales every weekend, the record for one weekend being RON 400,000 (EUR 90,000). On Saturdays and Sundays, discounts can reach up to 70 percent, and products which register the most significant drop in price in this period are the mobile phones.

Moreover, the most purchased products in the QuickEnd period are also the mobile phones, the Romanians’ favorite phones being iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy S6 or Sony Xperia Z3.
