Most expensive apartment on sale in Romania costs EUR 4 mln

Although in Romania the luxury residential segment is in an early development phase and penthouse offers are not very numerous, according to an analysis made by Imobiliare.ro, asking prices in the Bucharest can reach EUR 4 million, while in other cities analyzed, the sellers’ financial demands fall, with one exception, below EUR 500.000.

In Bucharest, the most expensive penthouse is located in the Primaverii-Herastrau area on and has a EUR 3.8 million asking price.  The property occupies the last two floors (out of five) of a building completed in 2013, is divided into six rooms and has an area of ​​400 square meters (with four additional terraces totaling 200 sqm).

In the city center of Brasov, a duplex penthouse in a six-floor building, completed in 2010, can be purchased for EUR 320.000. The property is divided into six rooms and has a floor area of ​​about 250 sqm (the constructed area, including three terraces, toting up 745 sqm).

On the coastline, more specifically in Constanta, at the entry in Mamaia resort, a duplex penthouse, located at the 11th and 12th floors of a 2010 building, is priced EUR 420.000. Divided into five rooms, the apartment has a 267 sqm floor area​​ excluding the two terraces, and sea view.

In Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi the most expensive apartments cost between EUR 215.000 and EUR 280.000.
