The mobile operators that won spectrum resources during the tender organized by ANCOM in 2012 have completed successfully the transition to 1800 MHz frequency, after altering the technical parameters of the networks, to be able to use this frequency.
The transition took place on the night of March 31- April 1, and there were no incidents during the operations, according to the national telecom watchdog ANCOM.
Telecom operators Cosmote, Orange, RCS&RDS and Vodafone will implement from now on a new transition stage for the 900 MHz which will take place between April 4-5.
The telecom watchdog warns that during the transition process, short-term problems may appear.
