Mega Image opens two stores in Bucharest

Mega Image has opened two new stores, reaching 436 units, according to company representatives.

Mega Image Baltaretului is located on 17-21 Baltaretului Street, 5th district, Bucharest and has a sales area of about 86 square meters.

Shop & Go Alexandriei is located on 102 Soseaua Alexandriei, 5th district, Bucharest and has a sales area of about 75 square meters.

Mega Image has been present in Romania since 1995 and is part of the Delhaize Group. Over the past years it has had an aggressive expansion policy reaching a network of 436 stores at present. Out of this 232 are Shop&Go proximity stores and 201 are Mega Image supermarkets. The company also operates a store that sells exclusively frozen foods (Ab Cool Food), two dedicated to locally produced private labels (Gusturi Romanesti) and an online and drive-thru store (Mega Drive).

The retailer is present mostly in Bucharest, but also in cities like Constanta, Ploiesti, Pitesti, Brasov, and Targoviste.
