Mega Image launches home delivery service for frozen food

Retailer Mega Image, which has a network of 319 supermarkets and convenience stores in Romania, has launched a delivery service for frozen items in its AB Cool Food store, according to Mediafax.

All of AB Cool Food’s products will be put up for sale on the Internet and be delivered to customers in Bucharest and Ilfov county. The online store will take orders directly through the Internet or on the phone. Orders must be at least RON 100 and payments will be made in cash on delivery.

Transportation will cost RON 10 if the order is less than RON 300, otherwise transportation costs will be free.

“At present, consumrs appreciate our concept and variety of products and we will continue to get closer to them through our offer and services”, according to Xavier Piesvaux, general director for Mega Image Romania.

AB Cool Food is part of the Mega Image chain and it was opened last year in September on Ion Mihalache Boulevard in Bucharest.
