Marriott Bucharest Hotel appoints new CEO

Fadlallah Zayat took over as of April 1^st the mandate of CEO of JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, previously holding the position of Regional Finance Director for Eastern Europe. He has vast experience in finance of over 20 years with Marriott and going through a complete itinerary: from the position of General Cashier (JW Marriott Dubai, 1994) to the financial coordination of 54 hotels in 16 countries from different Area Finance Director positions.

Among the responsibilities he held over his international career there are: acquisition and rebranding of the first Marriott hotel in Yerevan, participation in the pre-opening team of the Marriott hotels and Courtyard in Tbilisi and the position of Director of Rooms Operations with Marriott Warsaw, his first mission outside the financial discipline.

Now in his first term as CEO, Zayat said he accepted this professional challenge as JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel is a property of a significant size, located on a competitive market and, moreover, in a key moment, aiming a major renovation.
