ISACA Romania Chapter and Revista CARIERE to host the “Expect the unexpected. Rewind. Reshape. Rethink. Restart

ISACA Romania Chapter and Revista CARIERE organize the virtual event themed “Expect the unexpected. Rewind. Reshape. Rethink. Restart” during 2^nd – 4^th March 2021. During the three days, at the ISACA Romania Chapter Virtual Event there will be debates on hot topics related to governance and regulations on information control and security, technology and leadership, in the pandemic context that started last year.

2020 brought radical change to everybody’s work and life, totally unexpected and unpredictable. 2021 also arrives with a lot of uncertainty, yet one thing is certain: the digital transformation topic so long discussed priory has now taken a real shape and moves incredibly fast, forcing business to react and take risks without the planned preparation.

In this context, the event discussions will go around the newest topics related to IT security in the Romanian regulatory landscape: the NIS Directive regarding network security and information services and its impact on essential sectors like banking, energy, telecommunications and infrastructure, the new regulatory authority – the National Cyber Security Directorate (NCSD), the new European Cybersecurity Competence Centre that will be located in Bucharest, and many others. Much attention will be drawn to the opportunities and challenges related to new regulations and public institutions, and to which is the most appropriate positioning for approaching this news, both as an individual and as a business.

At the conference there will be also debates on similarly recent aspects regarding the evolution of leadership in connection with technology, potential differences between the technological and digital perspective, lessons learned and challenges for future leaders, the common effort and mutual support between leaders and their teams with the aim of increasing their motivation level and reaching goals – all being influenced by the definitive mark that 2020 left on the entire world at personal and organizational level.
