Httpool will represent Twitter in Central and Eastern Europe, including Romania, according to Cristi Marinescu, managing director Httpool Romania, who revealed this information during an interview for Paginademedia.ro.

Twitter has selected the agency to manage ad sale in the region. Thus, Httpool will represent Twitter in 11 countries: Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Ukraine.

“On behalf of Twitter, Httpool will support agencies and brands to make the most of their activity on this social network. Httpool will offer them everything they need, from trainings to support in managing the campaigns and studies so that they get the best results,” said Marinescu.

According to Katie Lampe, Twitter sales director, the company decided to find a local representative because Romanian brands are interested in promotion on the network.

“I believe it is important to have a local sales team in order to help brands to build strategies and create campaigns on Twitter,” said Lampe.

She also said Romania is a “healthy” market for the company.

Twitter has three advertising products for brands: Tweets Promoted, Promoted Trends and Promoted Accounts. Read a Business Review interview with Andy Piper, Twitter UK developer advocate.
