How to do fundraising: The Big Lunch Bucharest

The Big Lunch Bucharest will be the biggest lunch for fundraising from Romania, organized by Fundatia Comunitara Bucuresti after an idea of UK’s Eden Project. On September 27, for more than four hours, 15 causes will gain money by cooking and impressing guests with their delights in order to raise money for their projects. The donations can be made using  the online platform www.galantom.ro

 

The 15 projects that will be presented at the Big Lunch Bucharest are:

  • Work at Home Moms Association with the project School of tailoring and design for mothers
  • Climb Again Sports Club Association with the project Together on the road – climbing for blind children
  • Center for Resources for public participation (CeRe) with the project CeRe your town back, don’t wait for heroes
  • Decat o Revista with the project Bucuresteanul
  • Initiative Group for the establishment of the Community Foundation Dâmboviţa with the project for rural areas Learn differently
  • Hey Marie! with informal discussions meetings with young guests
  • The Heart of Children Association with the project The Heart of Children is also your heart
  • Noi Orizonturi Foundation with the project Life elements in 5 foster care centers from Bucharest
  • Robi Animals Protection Association with the project for free sterilization campaign of community cats
  • Sansa ta Association with the project A hot chance, giving 180 meals per week for homeless persons
  • Next Century Association with the project I want to go to the theatre
  • Shakespeare School for Education Association with the project English for Life
  • S.T.U.P. Social Trading Urban Place with the project Uleiosul – pilot project to collect oil and fats urban household
  • Young Initiative Association for a donation campaign of diapers for babies in institutions.
