“It is a significant moment for Europharm Distributie, which has become one of the most important companies in the distribution of pharmaceutical products in Romania. Europharm Distribution plays an important role in the distribution market for Romanian pharmaceutical products and for GSK in Romania, so in analysing Interbrands’ offer, GSK has taken into account the buyer’s commitment for business continuity and employee wellbeing,” said George Katzourakis, SVP Europe Area head, Pharma Europe.
Europharm Distributie has been active on the local market for 20 years. It currently has 500 employees working in 11 warehouses and distributes over 3,500 products from over 100 local and international providers and reaches over 6,000 points of sales representing independent pharmacies, national networks, hospitals and other types of clients.
