Google Traffic available in Romania

Google Maps expanded coverage of the service which allows users to see traffic conditions in real time to seven new countries: Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Mexico, Peru, Romania and South Africa.

Besides traffic and weather conditions, the service also offers drivers an estimated time of the journey.

Users can access the new service by visiting http://maps.google.ro/ and accessing the the Traffic button in the widget placed in the upper right part of the map.

This traffic information is also available on Google Maps for mobile phones and Google Maps Navigation.

At the same time, Google has also expanded coverage in 19 countries where Google Traffic was already available: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan and Great Britain.
