GeBOC appoints new mananging director

Andrei Romanescu is the new managing director of Hewlett-Packard (HP) Global e-Business Operations Center (GeBOC). He has more than 15 years’ professional experience in business process outsourcing and telecom.

Romanescu is the first Romanian to take over the helm since the local company was set up eight years ago. He previously served as functional manager for the EMEA region of GBS, HP’s global service center, coordinating teams in Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia.

He  joined HP in July, 2011, after having worked as vice-president of the local subsidiary of WNS Global Services.
