Flanco opens new store in AFI Palace Ploiesti

Flanco Retail invested approximately EUR 600,000 into opening a new store in AFI Palace Ploiesti. This is the 79th outlet of the IT&C retailer, which plans to end 2013 with a network of 82 outlets.

The new store is located in the residential area of Ploiesti and has a parking lot for 1,000 cars. The store covers 1,000 square meters and has a sales team made up from 15 sales counselors.

“The range of Flanco products reflects the trends of the past months towards IT products and mobility and includes tablets, smartphones, earphones and notebooks, together with electronic products, “ said Violeta Luca, CEO Flanco.

Flanco has 900 employees and a network of 79 stores in 50 cities. Flanco posted at the end of 2012 a turnover of EUR 137 million and has a market share of 13 percent, being the second largest player on the IT&C retail market.
