Euro Insol sells MLP Bucharest Sud logistics park for EUR 14.2 mln

Euro Insol has, the liquidator of  bankrupt MLP Bucharest Sud, has sold the company’s asset – the MLP Bucharest Sud logistical park – for RON 62.5 million (approximately EUR 14.2 million) to AGI-RRE Hera, according to Mediafax.

The logistics park covers 12,000 sqm and is located on a 56.5 ha plot of land in Popesti-Leordeni, south of Bucharest. It was built in 2010 by Polish Millennium Logistic Parks Group.

The 12,000 sqm represent only 10 percent of the developer’s initial plans for the project, according to Euro Insol representatives.The company entered insolvency in April 2013 and in October 2013 it declared bankruptcy.The park’s largest tenant is cosmetics company Sarantis Group.

The company’s main creditor is Alpha Bank which has to recover a debt of RON 105 millon (approximately EUR 23.8 million). This represents 72.5 percent of MLP Bucharest Sud’s total debt.
