Enel Green Power: New CEO and GM appointed

The Board of Directors, which met today under the chairmanship of Luigi Ferraris, acknowledged the resignation of Francesco Starace as Director of Enel Green Power S.p.A. (“Enel Green Power”), as well as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Company, following his appointment by the shareholders’ meeting of Enel S.p.A., held on May 22nd, as member of the Board of Directors of the latter.

The Board of Directors of Enel Green Power S.p.A. has placed on record their thanks to Francesco Starace for his work done and the results achieved by the Company during his tenure, thus congratulating him on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Enel S.p.A. by the Board of Directors of the latter, which met today.

The Board of Directors of Enel Green Power S.p.A. has then appointed by cooptation Francesco Venturini as Director of the Company and has also approved his appointment as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager; the Board of Directors has also defined the delegation of powers of Enel Green Power S.p.A., assigning to the Chief Executive Officer delegated powers substantially equivalent to those already granted on May 2013.

Francesco Venturini has held until now the role of Head of North America Area of Enel Green Power’ Group. Born in the United States in 1968, he graduated in Economics. He joined Enel in 1997 as Head of Administration and Management Control of Enel S.p.A., thereafter he has held relevant managerial positions in the companies of the Group, until he became Head of North America Business Development of Enel Green Power S.p.A.
