Romanian early-stage start-ups can enroll in the fifth edition of hub:raum Krakow WARP – a turbo accelerator, the free of charge business academy rolled out by hub:raum for CEE, until April 20, 2016.

The hub:raum Krakow WARP project developed within Deutsche Telekom (DT) Group, is a week of workshops and a tailor-made program for entrepreneurs from the CEE region, scheduled for May 21-27, 2016. Start-ups develop their ideas under the eye of mentors and experts to present it afterwards in front of investors from DT group. The jury will chooses the most interesting projects that can reach potential customers, which are funded each with EUR 80,000 for completion.

So far, 6 Romanian teams participated to the previous editions of the program and two Romanian start-ups received a 80,000 euro investment each to develop their ideas within the program: Omnipaste in 2013 and DeviceHub in 2014

The selected teams that will participate in this edition will develop their ideas in hub:raum Krakow for a few weeks thanks to financing, mentoring and co-working sessions. The main aim of this part of the accelerator is to prepare a product or service to commercialization on markets thanks to the companies within DT group.

For the selected teams, the costs of flight and accommodation will be supported by the organizers.

“Four editions of our flagship program has proved that cooperation between corporations and start-ups can bring mutual benefits. Start-ups base on the experience of the global partner that can support them in launching their projects faster on the market. On the other hand, corporations gain innovations thanks to which they can build their competitive edge. This is a classical win-win situation and model that works well” said Jakub Probola, head of hub:raum Krakow.

hub:raum Krakow is DT’s Innovation Hub for tech entrepreneurs, which is providing market access to customers.

Start-ups that want to take part in the accelerator should fill the form on the website warpaccelerator.com.
