Customers will be able to denounce retailers who don’t issue tax receipts to a telephone number provided by the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), which stores will have to display starting with March 1,  said on Sunday finance minister Darius Valcov, according to Mediafax.

The ANAF is to supervise the activity of the companies that have issued fiscal lottery winning tax receipts. The call at the telephone number provided by ANAF is free of charge.

Valcov said the phone number is already set up, yet he stated that he wasn’t remembering it at that moment in order to make it public. This number was set up through ministerial order, as well as the mock-up poster to be put up in shops.

Customers should notify by phone the location from where they buy the product for which the retailer refuses to issue a tax receipt, the date and time of call following to be recorded automatically.

On the other hand, the minister said that for the fiscal lottery winning tax receipts ANAF will check the validity of the receipts at the issuing companies, and also the activity of those companies.
