The Cristescu brothers are developing an adventure park within the Arsenal Park complex in Orastie. The investment is worth EUR 6 million and will also include an artificial skating ring and an extreme sports center.

“The military themed amusement park Arsenal Park in Orastie will benefit from a EUR 6 million investment for building an adventure park with six tracks of varying difficulties, for children and adults, with over 70 platforms and constructions as tall as 35 meters, 9 kilometers of biking paths and an extreme sports tower, over 50 meter in hight where we will build the longest zipline in the country (600 meters”, according to Marius Cristescu, owner of Arsenal Park.

The developers will add a playground, a skate park with 1,500 square meters in surface, a riding center, a spa and an event hall to their complex.

Construction started in early june and will conclude in august 2015.

“In the long run we are planning on extending the room and board capacity to 400 places and we will drill for a thermal water spring to supply our spa and heat the whole complex”, Cristescu added.

35,000 tourists stayed at Arsenal Park last year and another 40,000 visited it. For 2014, Arsenal Park is planning on attracting 17 percent more clients.
