A newcomer has recently joined Bucharest’s open-air cinema circuit, which includes weekend summer screenings at CinePark in Herastrau and projections at the NCRR, at the Peasant Museum.
Established in the garden of Creart, in Piata Lahovari, the venue, which started operating on July 11, screens movies every night at about 21.00, with an affordably priced bar. The classic selection has featured such favorites as Rain Man and Forrest Gump, and the week beginning Monday 21 July will showcase works by Sidney Lumet, Martin Scorsese, Federico Fellini and Baz Luhrmann, among others.
