Cora launches home delivery service

Cora has launched a home delivery service for the goods ordered online from coradrive.com, Romania Hypermarche, the company operating the Romanian Cora hypermarket chain, announced on Wednesday. The delivery services will be provided by TNT.

The announcement comes one year after the retailer launched the first local drive-through service. This is available only in the Cora Lujerului hypermarket in Bucharest, but the company wants to extend it next year to other two locations in the capital – Cora Pantelimon and Cora Sun Plaza.

The minimum order on coradrive.ro is RON 50 (approximately EUR 11.30). Customers can choose from over 14,000 products and they can pay either online or by cash on delivery. Those who opt for the home delivery service have to pay an additional RON 15. The home delivery service is available from 14.00 to 21.00 on weekdays and between 12.00 and 16.00 on Saturdays.

Retailer Cora operates a network of 12 hypermarkets in Romania, out of which four are located in the capital.
