Consultance group Moore Stephens strengthens operations in Romania

The Moore Stephens International network, provider of accounting, audit and management consulting services, continues its expansion in south-east Europe by launching the operations of Moore Stephens KSC in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, company representatives announce.

The operations of Moore Stephens KSC will be led by Mamas Koutsoyiannis, a businessman with vast experience in the profession, along with his partners Andrei Stan – audit partner, Casian Sabau – audit partner, Valeriu Cernei – partner IT audit & advisory and Vlad Tomosoiu – managing partner, corresponding law Firm.

Moore Stephens has over a century of experience in the accounting profession and business consultancy. Today the network has 626 offices in 103 countries, incorporating 26,290 employees and revenues of more than USD 2,683 billion. Auditing and managing multi-jurisdictional financial statements of multi-national operations represent the core business.

Mamas Koutsoyiannis (in photo above) has an experience of over 19 years, out of which 13 years in Romania, leading until recently a similar firm. He is member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), member of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR), member of the Body of Experts and Licensed Accountants of Romania (CECCAR), member of the Chamber of Tax Consultants Romania (CCRF), member of Association of Accounting and Auditors from the Republic of Moldova (AAA), member of the Quality committee of ACAP from the Republic of Moldova, member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He was nominated the ACCA Ambassador as recognition of its commitment to promote ACCA both in Romania and the Republic of Moldova and currently he is a member of ACCA board meeting in Romania.

Andrei Stan and Casian Sabau hold the position of audit partners.

Andrei StanAndrei Stan has over 10 years of experience in audit, accounting, consulting and due-diligence applied both locally and internationally and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK (ACCA).

 

 

 

Casian SabauCasian Sabau has an experience of over 13 years in audit, accounting, consulting and due-diligence. In addition to the membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK (ACCA), he is a member of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR), being also certified in auditing EU funds.

 

 

 

Valeriu CerneiValeriu Cernei holds the position of partner in IT audit & advisory department. He has over 14 years of experience in audit and IT consulting and he is ISACA and BCI affiliate member. Cernei has carried out diligence several projects in the field of information security, IT audit, IT due, audit and implementation of IT processes and ensure business continuity for various institutions in the financial, retail and industry in Romania, Moldova and Russia.

 

 

Vlad TomosoiuVlad Tomosoiu holds the position of managing partner of the corresponding law firm Moore Stephens and member of the Bucharest Bar. Vlad was involved in various areas related to corporate and commercial. During his career, he has gained extensive experience in advising employers on a variety of labor issues and has been involved in various insolvency procedures.
