Charitable Olympic dinner supports new Hospice center in Bucharest

Valeria and Steven van Groningen will be the hosts of a charitable fundraiser event set to take place on June 27. The event aims to support the building a new HOSPICE center in Bucharest, which will accomodate children with incurable diseases. The dinner party will take place at the Athene Palace Hilton. It will be a celebration of both Romanian and British Olympics history.

The guest lists of the charitable Olympic Dinner includes: the Romanian Olympic team for London 2012, Elisabeta Lipa, Andreea Raducan, Ana Maria Branza, Ivan Patzaikin, Marius Urzica, Doina Ignat, Violeta Beclea-Szekely, Ilie Nastase, Carmen Bunaciu as well as Mark Gitentein, the ambassador of United States of America.

For this occasion, the Olympic champions will share their professional experience with the public and they will exhibit their Olympics medals. At the night of the event, Artmark will organize a public auction and all funds raised as well as the revenues from ticket sales will be donated directly to Hospice Hope’s House (Hospice Casa Sperantei) for the care of children with incurable diseases.
