Members of CFR’s Managing Board have been dismissed on Wednesday night, after a meeting with the company’s shareholders, according to former board president, Liviu Radu, writes hotnews.ro
“They showed us a law that would allow them to fire us. I personally don’t believe I ever did anything that could be harmful for the company. I will discuss things with my colleagues and see what we can do”.
According to Radu, the meeting started Wednesday at around 4 pm and ended late in the night.
“The meeting was attended by shareholders but I don’t know them all because the General Shareholders Assembly also underwent changes recently. Also present was Adrian Nica, head of the Transport Ministry’s Audit body”, according to Radu.
The managing board that was fired on Wednesday had been appointed at the beginning of 2013.
