Mircea Coman is the new general manager of pharmacy chain Centrofarm starting March. He is tasked with drawing up the development strategy of the company across the country.
Coman previously served as head of regional operations/north at German retailer Metro Cash&Carry. He has worked for Metro in the last 14 years, holding positions in the operational and marketing departments. Coman designed Metro’s store franchising system called La doi pasi.
Centrofarm has a network of 55 pharmacies, out of which 34 are in Bucharest and the rest across Romania. More than half of them operate in large retail centers.
