Car registrations in Romania up 8.3 pct in Q1

New car registrations in Romania increased in the first quarter by 8.3 percent against the same period in 2014, to 14,452 units, while Dacia deliveries advanced on the EU markets by 5.1 percent in the period under review, at 95,414 units, the Romanian brand’s share staying at 2.7 percent.

According to Mediafax, in the first quarter of 2014, in Romania were registered 13,345 new cars.

The European car market rose by 8.6 percent in the first three months of 2015 compared to the same period last year to 3.52 million units, due to the positive evolution of the large markets.
